On March 17, 2012, the New York Chapter of the John Paul II Foundation organized a trip to Pennsylvania.
We traveled to Sight & Sound Theatres in Lancaster County for the premiere performance of the play *Jonah*, where the biblical story was brought to life through music and song in an engaging and accessible way.
Beautiful sets and stunning special effects helped transport the audience back to Old Testament times.
The creators and performers of the production wanted us to see ourselves in Jonah, making his story a reflective lesson for the modern viewer—a chance to look in the mirror.
God sends each of us on a mission, but do we always want to fulfill it according to His plan? Or do we sometimes try to run away like Jonah?
See for yourself.
